New Zealand travel bubble

The Federal Government recently announced the opening of a safe travel zone between New Zealand and NSW and the Northern Territory. The New Zealand travel bubble is only open to those travelling from New Zealand to Australia, and who have not been in a COVID hotspot for the previous 14 days.

Anyone entering Australia who is not an Australian or New Zealand citizen is still required to hold a valid visa, and can only travel to Australia on quarantine-free flights.

We urge anyone planning to travel between New Zealand and Australia to seek advice, as there has been some confusion regarding the details of how and where in Australia people are allowed to travel.
